Chinese Gymnastics Underage
The Chinese team has taken gold over in Beijing easily beating the United States. Many believe that if the Olympics were being held in a country like the U.S, then these rumours of chinese gymnasts underage girls being used in a gymnast team would have gone a lot further by now.
Americans are asking now if there were any of the Chinese gymnasts underage that won gold at the Beijing Olympics today? In fact, gynmasts He Kexin and Jiang Yuyuan’s ages were questioned as possibly underage by the New York Times back in July.
Bela Karolyi Said
The Chinese team “looks” to small, some 4 feet tall and 68 pounds. “They are using half-people,” Karolyi told the Associated Press. “One of the biggest frustrations is, what arrogance. These people think we are stupid. We are in the business of gymnastics and we know what a kid of 14 or 15 or 16 looks like. You don’t have to be a gymnastics coach to know what they look like at 16.”
The Times found really two online records of official registration lists of Chinese gymnasts that list He’s birthday as Jan. 1, 1994, which would make her 14. A 2007 national registry of Chinese gymnasts … Another registration list that is unblocked, dated Jan. 27, 2006, and regarding an “intercity” competition in Chengdu, China, also lists He’s birthday as Jan. 1, 1994. That date differs by two years from the birth date of Jan. 1, 1992, listed on passport, which was issued Feb. 14, 2008.
The Chinese government has denied any wrongdoings

I am wondering why we have such restrictions? I think sports shouldn’t have such restriction. It is right of human beings which shouldn’t be suppressed. It is bad to read that term “half human”.

In last Olympics, a lot of crap happen. I was shocked to know that Chinese Government didn’t show off the girl who sung the inaugural song because they thought that she is ugly. I think this world is full of crap and it just needed an opportunity to pop up.

This is very bad. I think, there is nothing well with. Because, these things don’t mean in an Olympic.

Who cares if the little girl didn’t sing the song? In 2000 olympics in sydney, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra faked its entire performance to a pre-recording that was done by both Sydney and Melbourne orchestras together…
