The Pink Toed Tarantula is also known as Pink toed Tree Spider and they are found in Guyana, French Guiana, Suriname, Venezuela, Brazil, Trinidad, Martinique, and around the Amazon Basin.
Pink Toed Tarantulas are really small with long dense hairs. Females reach about 13 cm while male reaches only 9 cm in size. They are beautiful and furry species and they are available in dark black to metallic gray.
Their most interesting feature is that they have beautiful pink tip in their each foot. They live only 4 to 8 years but it will take them 2 to 3 years to become fully mature.
They eat all kinds of insect. Their most favorite insects are grasshoppers, roaches, crickets and wax moths. They can easily survive in human environment and can be had as pets.
Temperature should be between 78° to 82° F with a humidity level of 65 to 75%. It’s really fun and easy to keep them as a pet.
Pink Toed Tarantulas are funny, cute and they like to stay in groups. They don’t strike like other tarantula species so they can be perfect as pets!!!
