I tried this with 100% cotton, the string I used was questionable, and I don’t know if I used the correct type of fluid. But I burned myself. Not a bad burn or anything, I just couldn’t hold the ball for a long time, maybe like 4 seconds.

soak ur hands in ice water for about 1 min. then Use aloe vera (pure, or near pure) on your hands before handling the ball. They keep it from burning very nicely. DON’T use Vaseline. It will burn the hell out of your hands and they will stay lit for a while.

That is friggn sweet. Ive done something similar by taking certain flamable liquids and light them on fire in my hand, but this looks like it would be way funner.

for those who are burning their hand….lighter fluid and charcoal lighter aren’t the same thing. charcoal lighter is too oily and thats sticking to your hands and burning. the way this is supposed to work is that is burning the vapors. i’m thinking you can use rubbing alcohol but i’m not sure how long it’ll last
