European police cars are always much more stylish than American ones are. But I wonder, are Euros any less functional than a ford crown victoria?
Police cars from the UK, Netherlands, and others are always what “rich” people wish they drove in America 🙂

How come there is not a single Corvette on the list? Them Z06’s are used in North America, and those babies can do 300 km/hr, good luck trying to outrun one of those…

I think the reason for cop cars in the US being Fords and Chevys is that they’re used in low speed areas and urban environments. The speed limit (if there is one) is higher all across Europe compared to the US. What reason does a police officer in the middle of nowhere Montana need to go 190 mph? What is the suspect going to drive that will outrun a cop car?
We also seem to have a lot more police (though it’s not needed) in the US. There might be one cop car on the side of the road but he has the ability to call for about 20 of his friends to come help him out.

I see they’ve got a Dodge Charger cop car today, current model and nothing to get excited about. But…was the 1968-69 Charger, the most beautiful and impressive car on American roads at the time, ever seen as a police vehicle?
