That certainly is a labor of love, awesome work and he must be really pleased with the end result.
August 11th, 2009 at 8:59 am
Well what ever floats your boat.. Definitely skilled. I wouldn’t have the time and energy to pull that off knowing the end result is still going to be a kit car worth the parts that are on it. If you got real one, at least the value would hold. I did do a 2.2turbo motor once into a fiat x19. But build a car from scratch, wow thats dedication..

Dude, awesome! Great work! You must feel very accomplished!
August 12th, 2009 at 1:25 pm
Yah, it’s a kit car, but I’ve never seen a kit car looking good or let alone one that looked almost identical to an exotic car…
August 12th, 2009 at 7:35 pm
That’s not a kit car, thats a homebuilt custom, wouldn’t think it would make any difference as far as value goes. But he didn’t assemble a kit, he built the car from scratch, big difference there, if that belonged to me I for one would be offended by someone calling it a kit car. Looks damn good. umm did he knock out a wall to get it out of a basement???????????
August 13th, 2009 at 9:12 am
Truly amazing! Anyone that can build a car like this from scratch deserves a ton of credit. Totally disagree with the guy who stated it’s a kit car, this is a homemade work of art!
August 15th, 2009 at 6:22 pm
He built it in his basement. In order to get it out he used the excavator to remove the dirt next to the basement wall, cut and removed the wall and then used the excavator to pull his “Lambo” out of the basement. S’all in the photos folks.

Really good job
Is awesome wath you did, the only thing that was a little weird for me was that you biuld it in your basement and you used a crane to take out your car. (sorry but my english is not too good)
Have you try it?
August 28th, 2009 at 4:35 pm
Beautiful Work!
The second one will be easy now.
September 5th, 2009 at 1:03 pm
that’s cool, but being a v8 and homemade that’s a lot of money and time down the drain.
September 6th, 2009 at 5:44 am
Just awesome.
Great job.
September 9th, 2009 at 12:46 pm
That’s some real dedication, my respect.
September 20th, 2009 at 6:43 am
Awesome man, you should be proud.
October 14th, 2009 at 9:51 pm
holy mackerel, now that’s an enthusiast.
he better keep it for at least as long as it took him to build. I don’t think those happy kids would have it any other way.
October 14th, 2009 at 9:53 pm
looking forward to seeing it perform on youtube!
November 4th, 2009 at 11:23 am
Looks just as good as the original… a bit more info on the performance, though?
November 4th, 2009 at 4:35 pm

November 9th, 2009 at 11:32 am
i’m not really one to get all crazy about cars, but this is amazing. . wow
November 11th, 2009 at 3:31 am
very impressive. that deserves a great deal of praise. my favourite car built by hand. fantastic!
November 17th, 2009 at 8:18 pm
dude that is fucking bad ass i love it
November 29th, 2009 at 1:15 pm
Its amazing how the car turned from red to silver once it came out of the hole in the ground.
This is so photo chopped it makes my toenails hurt.
December 14th, 2009 at 11:35 pm
WTF are you talking about chris you twat, there are clearly 5 photos showing it silver in colour in the basement, go get your cynical eyes checked.
Great work buddy, best home made car ever.
December 19th, 2009 at 6:49 pm
Screw all the cynics. Who cares about the monetary value? It’s all about the time and love he put in to the thing. Those who only care about money can go fuck themselves. While sentimental value won’t purchase you your penis medicine, at least this guy knows he did something the cynics never will. Keep up the good work, sir. And everyone should stop and appreciate a little hard work from time to time.

it’s amazing, it must be amazingly rewarding to build a copy of your dream car. Su much fun!
He built it in his basement…weird!
January 21st, 2010 at 11:44 pm
Amazing work on the car! I agree with all the people who say to forget about money value and worry about sentimental value. I’ve seen people restore tons of cars and even a few kit cars, but never a one of a kind hand built work of art.
By the way, did anyone notice the hot chick’s body under what looks to be one of the rim cut outs?

Wow, I have to say that is some really amazing craftsmanship. But for some reason, whenever someone does something like this, there is just always something about the end result that never sits quite right.
July 24th, 2010 at 8:33 pm
Amazing, what an incredible amount of work, the results look great and I hope it drives at least as good as it looks!
Chris, I don’t think what you are seeing is the result of PhotoShop, I think it’s paint. The body of the car is metal but those red bits are some kind of plastic and were painted as the car was finished.
July 27th, 2010 at 2:30 pm
You know you love cars when you build one for 10 years and then have to tear your house up to get it out of the basement! We would love to see some videos of it online.
August 28th, 2010 at 10:18 pm
Now that is some dedication. I wonder if he ever really thought he would finish it.
November 16th, 2010 at 2:59 am
WOW! This is awesome!
April 4th, 2011 at 7:43 am
Needs boost! Incredible build. Just incredible attention to detail. I personally would have gone for a Diablo body style and would have put a VG30DETT motor from a 300ZX in it for the sake of being a little different, but this is truly the cleanest kit car I have ever seen. Wow. 10 out of 10.
July 8th, 2011 at 7:50 pm
Building a countach for 10years and then the gallardo comes out that must’ve pissed the guy of ALOT
October 12th, 2011 at 6:53 am
Nice. Except if he truly admired the countach, he would have fitted it with a v12. Not some random V8.
November 22nd, 2011 at 11:54 am
