Burning Man is an annual event held in Black Rock City, Nevada. The event starts on the Monday before, and ends on the day of, the American Labor Day holiday. The Burning Man, an annual weeklong festival that began last week and wraps up on Labor Day, is an exercise in extremes and opposites for year 2008.

It Begun in 1986 in San Francisco, the festival was small and grew massive, it has moved out to the huge open spaces of the desert, drawing in tens of thousands

Today it is about community and self reliance, bare requirements and hard to believe extravagance, high-tech raves and primitive drum circles, elaborate costumes and birthday suits, temporal experiences and lifelong memories
