   but aren’t lego bricks (by volume needed) more expensive than ordinary construction materials, I thought people chose alternative building materials mainly to reduce costs.

   I wonder how cold it gets in the winter. I also wonder if it stands up to earthquakes. That would be a fun one to test out.
