The Charleston Heston or Charlton Heston died at the age of 84
The actor died Saturday night at his home with his wife Lydia at his side, family spokesman Bill Powers said
He married Lydia Marie Clarke in 1944 and had two children, Fraser Clarke Heston and Holly Ann Heston
The legendary actor that appeared in such films as The Ten Commandments, Ben Hur, and Planet of the Apes, has passed away at the age of 84. Heston spent over 60 years acting and is well known as an activist for the NRA
